Trysten Hill, once a second-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys, is facing serious legal trouble following his recent arrest in Texas.

Hill, 28, was taken into custody on March 26 by the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office. According to jail records, he has been charged with assault of a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency request for assistance, both significant allegations that carry legal and personal consequences.

Authorities confirmed that Hill’s arrest also stems from two bond forfeiture warrants tied to a 2025 criminal investigation. These forfeitures indicate that Hill allegedly failed to comply with court-ordered conditions from a prior case, prompting law enforcement to take action.

Following his arrest, Hill was booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie, Texas. Reports indicate he is currently being held on a total bond set at $3,500.

Hill entered the NFL with high expectations after being selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of UCF. During his time in Dallas, he showed flashes of potential along the defensive line but struggled with consistency and injuries, ultimately playing parts of four seasons with the organization.

This latest development casts a shadow over Hill’s football career, which had already faced uncertainty in recent years. Legal issues of this nature can significantly impact a player’s future opportunities, both on and off the field.

As the situation unfolds, more details are expected to emerge regarding both the current charges and the underlying 2025 investigation.
