Louisville defensive tackle Jordan Guerad has developed into a strong and athletic presence along the interior defensive line, impacting the trenches with his blend of power, quickness, and experience. Guerad began his collegiate career at Florida International, earning First Team All-Conference USA honors before transferring to Louisville and working his way into the starting lineup against some of the top competition in college football. With more than 35 career starts, he brings valuable experience, maturity, and a high level of football intelligence to the defensive front. His athletic profile is highlighted by exceptional lower-body strength — including a 700-pound back squat and 500-pound front squat — which allows him to generate outstanding leverage and force at the point of attack.

Guerad displays impressive agility and burst off the snap, enabling him to penetrate gaps and disrupt plays in the backfield. His combination of foot quickness, balance, and raw strength helps him collapse the pocket and prevent quarterbacks from comfortably stepping up and surveying the field. His athleticism is also evident in his ability to fight through blocks, maintain leverage against double teams, and pursue plays with a relentless motor. Paired with his physical strength and disciplined technique, these movement skills make him an effective interior defender capable of impacting both the run game and the pass rush.
