Los Angeles Rams vs Carolina Panthers – NFL Playoffs (Wild Card Round) Preview & Prediction

Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Sean McVay & the Los Angeles Rams face Bryce Young, Tetairoa McMillan, Dave Canales and the Carolina Panthers in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs in a huge NFC matchup.

The Rams lost pivotal games down the stretch to the Panthers, Falcons and Seahawks which cost them the NFC West and the number 1 seed in the NFC for the Playoffs, which comes with a coveted first round bye. The Davante Adams injury limited the Rams offense but getting him back makes their receivers arguably the most dangerous in the postseason.

Look for LA to utilize their 3 tight end sets with Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson and Tyler Higbee, while stile giving Adams and Nacua 15-20 targets. The running back play in this game will be vital as there are 2 duos that are among the best in the league, look for Kyren Williams and Blake Corum to get 25-30 touches and Rico Dowdle / Chuba Hubbard to combine for 25-30 touches or more.

The defensive line for LA is one of the best in the NFL with Jared Verse, Byron Young, Braden Fiske and Kobie Turner, with Nate Landman behind them and Quentin Lake returns from injury and Emmanuel Forbes Jr is a playmaker who will have coverage duties of Tetairoa McMilla, Xavier Legette, Jalen Coker or Jimmy Horn Jr. The Panthers pass rush is led by Derrick Brown snubbed for the Pro Bowl, he is also a great run defender who will be key to stopping Stafford and the Rams. In the first matchup Bryce Young badly outplayed Stafford and had the best game of his career with 3 passing touchdowns and coming up with clutch throws in big moments, especially on third down.

Puka Nacua will need to be kept in check by Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson if they are to have a chance. Charlotte weather will not be like it was in the first game which favors the Rams in good conditions at Bank of America Stadium. Rams/Panthers tickets are overly expensive with the cheapest tickets around 200/225 dollars which should allow for a large contingent of traveling Rams fans but a huge home-field advantage for the Panthers.

This will be a highly anticipated Wild Card Playoff game with massive stakes on the line, enjoy this Blitz With Blinder Video hosted by Josh Blinder.
