Pennsylvania High School Football Player Damarius Galarza Dies Unexpectedly in his Sleep

The Cedar Crest High School and Lebanon County communities are grieving the sudden loss of a young life.
Damarius Galarza, an 18-year-old senior and member of the Falcon Football Club, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday night. His death has left family, friends, teammates, and classmates heartbroken.
Damarius was a student at Cedar Crest High School and was preparing to take the next step in his future this fall. According to a GoFundMe created in his memory, he planned to attend the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he intended to study construction management.
Those who knew Damarius remember him as a dedicated athlete and a young man with ambition, kindness, and a bright future ahead. His sudden passing has deeply impacted the Cedar Crest community, particularly his teammates, who considered him more than just a player, but a brother.
As loved ones mourn an unimaginable loss, a fundraiser has been established to support Damarius’ family during this difficult time.
The community continues to rally around his family, honoring his life, his dreams, and the lasting impact he made in just 18 years.
Please continue to pray for the Galarza family.
