49ers vs Seahawks – Divisional Round Preview & Prediction – Winner Advances To NFC Title Game

Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Mike Maconald and the Seattle Seahawks face off against Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoff, with the winner advancing to the NFC Championship game.

The George Kittle injury is significant as he likely misses all of next year with the injury and the Fred Warner injury will keep him out of this game vs the Seahawks. The Ricky Pearsall injury makes this look like a heavy CMC game where he gets around 30 touches. Pearsall if he plays will be matched up with Devon Witherspoon, Riq Woolen and Nick Emmanwori.

With the Fred Warner injury and the Nick Bosa injury the best two defenders for the 49ers got knocked out for the season early in the year and they lack superstar power to limit this Seahawks offense but they are still in position to host the rest of their games this season. The Seahawks are lethal with their pass rush, Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy, Ernest Jones, Demarcus Lawrence formulate one of the front lines in the league.

Brock Purdy will need to escape the pocket and get the ball out quickly, luckily he will have Trent Williams. The crowd at Lumen Field will be one of the best in NFL history. The Seahawks run game is consistent with Zach Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker, Rashid Shaheed adds an element of gadget ability and deep down the field threat, meanwhile Cooper Kupp and AJ Barner are consistent targets outside of JSN.

They will have the chance to possibly win this game by themselves against this Robert Saleh defense. The 49ers have the worst pass rush in the NFL, they need Bryce Huff to step up.
