Patriots clinch AFC East, and will Stefon Diggs reach 1k yards this season?
On Sunday Afternoon the New England Patriots dominated the dismantled New York Jets, 42 – 10. Drake Maye dominated through the air completing 19 out of his 21 passes for 256 yards and five touchdown passes. This New England team climbed from rock bottom to reclaiming the AFC East Champion title after the Buffalo Bills held on to the title for many seasons. Drake Maye is having an MVP like season in his second season, lots of credit goes to Stefon Diggs, the veteran Wide Receiver has had a fantastic season since his ACL Injury he suffered with the Houston Texans, Diggs is currently at 970 yards on the season while hauling in 82 receptions. Diggs has found the endzone four times in his first season with New England. The veteran Wide Receiver reaching 1,000 receiving yards in a season would be a huge achievement for New England. The team hasn’t had a 1,000 + yard receiver since Patriots legend, Julian Edelman.
Stefon Diggs has a chance to reach this mark on Sunday vs the Miami Dolphins, 30 yards away from achieving something that hasn’t been done in many years.
