Detroit Lions vs Los Angeles Rams – Week 15 Preview & Prediction

Matthew Stafford, Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams hold the number 1 seed in the NFC again and control their destiny to get a first round bye in the NFL Playoffs.
They host Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, Aidan Hutchinson and the Detroit Lions in a pivotal clash that can but Dan Campbell’s team right back in the playoff and Super Bowl conversation with a win over arguably the best team in the NFL on the road at Sofi stadium.
Puka Nacua had the best game of his career and was unstoppable vs the Cardinals, him and Davante Adams who leads the NFL in touchdown catches, form a lethal duo and they will be matched up against another elite duo in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. Jared Verse (who when matched up with Penei Sewell will be must watch TV) Byron Young and the LA pass rush will be crucial in getting pressure on Goff and not allowing him to sit back in the pocket with time, which allowed him to decimate the Cowboys defense on Thursday Night.
The Lions have been decimated with injuries this year, the Kerby Joseph injury has sidelined an All-Pro, the Brian Branch injury & the Sam LaPorta injury takes two of the best 5 players at their position in the league off the field for the most crucial part of the season. Detroit is a game out of a playoff spot but controls their destiny to make the playoffs because of the Bears loss to the Packers.
Even with an MVP candidate in Stafford, the running game for LA with their duo in Blake Corum and Kyren Williams is turning into one of the best in football. We may not see a more high quality offensive game the rest of the season with two top 5 units going at it.
