Jeremiah Smith and the Ohio State Buckeyes are rolling. They are led by their Heisman front runner quarterback Julian Sayin and the best defense in College Football with new defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
Caleb Downs is arguably the best defender in the country along with linebacker Arvell Reese who comes in with 6.5 sacks and is screaming up 2026 NFL draft boards. His partner in crime Sonny Styles is playing at the same type of level as this defense has little to no holes to attack.
On offense the Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith duo is the best in the country and they put up 250 yards and 3 Touchdowns last week vs Penn State. They also feature Max Klare who is a transfer from Purdue a season ago. Ryan Day has a team looking to repeat as National Champions, this week is a chance to stay on that trajectory.
