‘Last Chance U’ coach John Beam shot in head at Laney College
Yesterday, legendary head coach John Beam who was starred on Last Chance U was shot in the head last night at Laney College.
According to reports, Beam who brought a championship to Laney College was shot on the college campus fieldhouse on Thursday.
The suspect remains at large.
His condition was not immediately made public, but reports claim Beam was alive when taken away in an ambulance to Highland Hospital.
Oakland police said officers responded shortly after the report of gunfire and confirmed that a suspect — described as a man wearing a black hoodie — fled the scene.
