⭐ Players Who Stood Out in Week 13
- Jackson Jensen (QB, Benedict College)
In the wild D-II playoff game vs Wingate, Jensen led the miraculous fourth-quarter comeback. He threw a key pass to Charle Simmons that set up the final trick play. Despite two interceptions, he finished the game with 158 yards and two passing touchdowns.
- Isaiah Isidore (Benedict College)
Contributed with a huge special teams play: he scooped up a blocked field goal and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown, shifting momentum.
- Malik Mullins (Benedict College)
Was on the receiving end of the final, game-winning lateral-pass trick play: Mullins took the cross-field pass and outran defenders downfield for an 86-yard walk-off TD.
- Jackson State – Jared Lockhart (QB)
Threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score in the 27–21 win over Alcorn State to clinch the SWAC East. He posted a sharp stat line: 15/17 passing, 194 yards. Also had chemistry with Nate Rembert: Lockhart connected on a 55-yard TD pass to Rembert.
- Ahmad Miller (Jackson State)
Paced the ground game for JSU: rushed 15 times for 106 yards in that key win.
- Timmy McClain (QB, Bethune-Cookman)
Delivered late in the Florida Classic: he threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Josh Evans with 20 seconds left to win the game 38–34. His poise on that final drive was crucial in breaking a losing streak to FAMU.
- Josh Evans (WR, Bethune-Cookman)
Came through in the clutch with the game-winning 41-yard catch from McClain, sealing B-CU’s win.
