Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Last year, I would say, was my hardest moment in life. Going from playing football and being in that scheduled lifestyle to everything completely changing definitely was hard, but I would say it helped me in a way I didn’t expect it to. It made my mind stronger and shaped me for the better. Just knowing everything can become nothing so fast made me realize how blessed and lucky I am to have this gift and to still be able to get back up and compete at the highest level.

- My younger self: I would just want to tell myself all the lessons I’ve learned through all the adversity I’ve faced. I would tell myself our dreams are coming true and to always remember that being patient is a talent.
What is your biggest weakness?
Being too hard on myself
