Week 6 HBCU Standouts
🔥 Jackson State
Quarterback Jacobian Morgan put on a show, throwing for 300+ yards, adding 100 rushing yards, and accounting for 4 total touchdowns in a dynamic performance. On the defensive side, Ivory was everywhere, tallying 10 tackles (3 solo) and a tackle for loss.
💪 Morgan State
Wideout Justin Perry was a playmaker all game long, hauling in 5 receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Eric Hunter racked up an impressive 11 solo tackles, while Lance Byndon made his presence felt with 3 solo tackles, a sack, tackle for loss, and a forced fumble.
⚡ Fayetteville State
Running back Demari Daniel led the ground attack with 14 carries for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense, Kaydin Thomas was dominant up front, notching 5 tackles (2 solo), 1.5 sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss.
🔥 Benedict
Defensive force Isaiah Stephens delivered a monster outing with 10 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 tackles for loss. His teammate Ty Metrius Patterson added 4 solo tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss, rounding out another strong week for Benedict’s defense.
