  1. Who is the NFL player you compare yourself the most to? Why is that?

I watch a lot of Eagles games, so I’d say Lane Johnson. I think his quick first set and anticipation skills are skills I try to emulate in my game. He also does a great job of being stacked and square in the run game and has patient hands in his set.

  1. What aspects of playing in the NFL do you find to be intriguing?

Being able to play the game I love as a profession is an unreal opportunity. I have wanted to be a professional athlete since I’ve been a kid. Playing in the NFL would give me more influence and opportunity than I have ever had. I strive to represent God, my family, and my loved ones in a positive way in all that I do. All of that in one sentence: the ability to create my own legacy.

  1. In what ways have you improved since last season?

Since last season, I’ve gotten stronger in the weight room and faster on the field. I also have grown into more of a leader with my actions on and off the field. This past spring ball allowed me to find the balance of improving as a player while also teaching and guiding my younger teammates.

  1. What is your favorite memory so far as a college football player?

My favorite memory has been winning our conference every year that I have been at Indiana Wesleyan. I love to compete and win. I also love when our rings get shipped in and I can show it off a little bit. I plan to make that 4 years in a row this season too.

  1. What is the most important thing you would like NFL scouts, coaches and general managers to know about you?

The first thing is that I am coachable. I am able to take criticism and then intentionally focus and improve on it. The next thing is that I love to put in work and then see the results of my effort. I strive to be better than the day before. The last thing is that I’m committed to what I do. When I commit to something, I complete it to the best of my ability and do so with an attitude of gratitude.
