Can the Chiefs Win a 10th Straight AFC West Title?

The Chiefs have owned this division for nine straight years now. Will this year make 10? Chiefs fans must know in their heart of hearts that this dynasty has to end sometime. As long as you have Mahomes, though, anything seems possible. But this team is looking vulnerable to this outsider, nonetheless.

Every other team in the division has improved (on paper) in the offseason. The team that has improved the most in my opinion would be the L.A. Raiders. Geno Smith and Ashton Jeanty highlight an improved offense. The defense is the question mark.

The Denver Broncos boast a stout defense. Can Bo Nix avoid a sophomore slump? The offense looks like it’s emerging and coach Sean Payton is doing a masterful job with this team.

The Chargers are up-and-coming also. Jim Harbaugh cannot be underestimated. Justin Herbert has played well. Can the new running back duo of Najee Harris and rookie Omarion Hampton produce? Will the defense be as good or better than last year?

The reigning champs surely won’t give up their divisional dominance without a fight. It should be an intersting division to watch this season.
