Former NFL player Bryan Braman lost his battle with cancer at 38

Former Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Bryan Braman died Thursday after seeking treatment this year for a rare, aggressive form of cancer. Braman was 38 years old.
Braman was diagnosed with this cancer in February 2025, and underwent multiple surgeries as part of his treatment in Seattle.
He was a standout special-teams player, appearing in 97 regular-season games, recording 56 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and blocked a crucial punt during Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LII run.
Braman is survived by his two daughters, aged 11 and 8.
