Former NFL player among 255 arrested in Florida during an undercover investigation

In a major bust that rocked Central Florida, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 255 individuals in a nine-day undercover operation titled “Fool Around and Find Out.” The sting, which targeted human trafficking, child predators, and illegal immigration, involved multiple law enforcement agencies.
According to the sheriff’s office, 141 people were busted for soliciting prostitution, 93 were hit with charges for offering to commit prostitution, and 10 more faced other prostitution-related charges. Eleven suspects were accused of traveling to meet minors for sex or were involved in other disturbing child exploitation crimes.
One of the most shocking arrests was that of former NFL linebacker Adarius Taylor, who suited up in his career for the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cleveland Browns.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd didn’t hold back when describing Taylor’s actions. “This guy made a lot of bad decisions. He not only brought his 6-year-old child along, but left that child alone in the car while he tried to solicit a prostitute,” Judd said. “This child has known mental health issues and should have never been left alone under any circumstance.”
Officials from the Department of Children and Families intervened and took the child into custody, later contacting the child’s mother. Sheriff Judd confirmed the child is now safe and doing well.
Judd didn’t mince words. “This guy — maybe he took one too many hits to the head as a linebacker. To show up to something like this, and then leave your child alone in a car — unbelievable. He’s now facing a child neglect charge on top of everything else.”
Pretty sad honestly.
