Top 5 Quarterbacks to Watch for the 2026 NFL Draft

I cannot wait for college football. I was breaking down some film and I think the 2026 NFL Draft is going to be very good for NFL teams, especially those looking for a quarterback. Let’s break down some of the top quarterbacks. I think Arch Manning is going to be very good in the limited film we have seen, and I do think he is QB1, but Nussmeier is right on his heels.

1. Arch Manning – Texas

  • Height/Weight: 6’4″, 225 lbs
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.62 seconds

Arch Manning, the nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning, is poised to lead the Texas Longhorns in 2025.Despite limited playing time thus far, his pedigree and flashes of elite talent have positioned him as a potential top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Manning’s combination of size, arm strength, and football IQ make him a prospect to watch closely this season.

2. Garrett Nussmeier – LSU

  • Height/Weight: 6’2″, 200 lbs
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.82 seconds

Garrett Nussmeier enters the 2025 season as LSU’s starting quarterback, bringing a gunslinger mentality and impressive arm talent. His ability to make off-platform throws and extend plays has drawn comparisons to some of the NFL’s top quarterbacks. If he can improve his decision-making and consistency, Nussmeier could solidify his status as a first-round prospect.

3. Cade Klubnik – Clemson

  • Height/Weight: 6’2″, 210 lbs
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.65 seconds

Cade Klubnik showed significant improvement in his sophomore season, throwing for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns. His dual-threat capabilities and poise in the pocket have made him a standout in the ACC. With another strong season, Klubnik could climb draft boards and become a top quarterback prospect.

4. Drew Allar – Penn State

  • Height/Weight: 6’5″, 238 lbs
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.90 seconds

Drew Allar possesses prototypical size and arm strength for an NFL quarterback. Leading Penn State to the College Football Playoff semifinals, he demonstrated the ability to perform under pressure. While he has areas to refine, particularly in consistency and decision-making, Allar’s physical tools make him an intriguing prospect.

5. LaNorris Sellers – South Carolina

  • Height/Weight: 6’3″, 242 lbs
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.62 seconds

LaNorris Sellers is one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks in the 2026 class. His combination of size, speed, and arm strength gives him a high ceiling. If he can develop his mechanics and decision-making, Sellers has the potential to rise rapidly in draft discussions.

The 2026 quarterback class offers a diverse array of talents, each bringing unique strengths to the table. As the college football season unfolds, these quarterbacks will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and solidify their positions in the upcoming NFL Draft.
