Ex-Star HS Football Player shot and killed College Football standout during a Robbery at Best Buy in Florida

This has to be one of the saddest stories on the internet.

Terance Pope was a defensive back at University High (Orange City), where he tallied more than 70 tackles in his career was shot and killed this past week. One of his former Rivals, Khalil Hunter, a standout football player on Sanford’s Seminole High School along with two others are being accused of fatally shooting Pople.

Pope went on to play for Davenport University, a private school in Michigan.

Hunter, 23, along with Shunavious Dorsey, 22, and James Nelson, 22, are accused of fatally shooting Terance Pope Jr., 21, a former University High (Orange City) football star, in the parking lot of a Best Buy store in Sanford on December 17.

Dorsey and Nelson have been charged with the same offenses as Hunter, according to the Sanford Police Department.

Arrest reports reveal that Pope had arranged to meet one of the suspects at the Best Buy to discuss a potential purchase of electronics. However, it is alleged that Hunter’s true intent was to rob Pope, which ultimately led to the tragic shooting.

Please keep these men and their families in your prayers. This is such a horrible situation. Two young men lost their lives.
