Five NFL Trade Predictions before the Trade Deadline

The NFL trade deadline is right around the corner, and I wanted to put together a list of five trades that I think could happen before the deadline.
Let’s look at five trades that could end up helping some pretenders become contenders.
DeAndre Hopkins – WR – Kansas City Chiefs – Chiefs give up a 4th round pick to the former Clemson wide out. The Chiefs have a banged up Marquise Brown and Rashee Rice, and Juju Smith-Schuster took some lumps yesterday. The Titans benched Hopkins the entire fourth quarter and he would be a huge addition for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The 6-0 Chiefs would get a big time weapon.
Budda Baker – S – Buffalo Bills – Bills trade a 2nd round pick to the Cardinals to land All-Pro safety Budda Baker. The Cardinals eat some of his salary cap which is how the Bills are able to pick up the veteran safety. With the Bills losing both Poyer and Hyde in the off-season they are able to find a replacement who is on the final year of his deal. Bills are able to re-work a new deal to get Baker under contract long term.
Mike Williams – WR – Pittsburgh Steelers – Steelers give up a fifth round pick to acquire New York Jets big pass catcher Mike Williams. The Steelers could use another weapon for Russell Wilson. Adding a big target makes sense. It will also alleviate some of the pressure George Pickens is receiving from secondaries.
Diontae Johnson – WR – San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers lost Brandon Aiyuk, and they have looked rough. Adding the former Steelers wide out could be a smart move. The 49ers send a late round swap of picks to the Panthers to land the veteran wide out.
Justin Fields – QB – Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders trade a late round pick and swap another pick to land Fields. The Steelers land some draft capital and Fields gets a fair shake to continue his journey. The Raiders get an instant upgrade at quarterback with Aidan O’Connell suffering an injury.
