20-year-old man arrested for the murder of former Clemson wide receiver Diondre Overton

Police traveled to Detroit, Michigan to arrest 20-year-old Jeremiah Diago Blanks, for the murder of former Clemson Tigers football star Diondre Overton.
According to reports, deputies in Guilford County, North Carolina, announced the arrest this week.
Deputies say Blanks killed 26-year-old Overton on Sept. 7 while the former Clemson Tigers wide receiver was at a house party in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Guilford County detectives traveled to Detroit to make the arrest of Blanks, with the help of the US Marshalls.
Overton died on the scene after being shot.
Blanks is being charged with felony first-degree murder.
