Heart-Breaking News: UFL football Diondre Overton killed in shooting in North Carolina

Diondre Overton, a former wide receiver who played on two national championship-winning teams at Clemson, was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Overton was 26 years old.
According to a police report, deputies responded to a noise disturbance call at 2:30 a.m. ET. While on their way, they were notified of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies found Overton, who was given immediate medical attention but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident and believe it to be isolated.
Overton had 52 catches for 777 yards and seven touchdowns during his four seasons with the Tigers, which voted him a senior team captain in 2019.
Overton played for the Memphis Showboats of the United Football League. Please pray for the Overton family.
