Freshman High School football player among several killed in a crash on 1-75
Brandon Crawford a 15-year-old high school football player was among four that were killed in a bad crash in Bartow County, Georgia on highway I-75.
According to reports, Crawford was in the same car with two of the other people killed: Dakarai Mason, 43, and Erin Mason, 35. Aimee Odom, 21, was also killed in the crash but in another car, the report stated.
The crash happened on I-75 southbound just before Red Top Mountain Road. Authorities said four people were killed, and five others were hurt.
Before his death, Crawford attended Cass High School, where he was a freshman on the football team and part of the international studies magnet program.
The Bartow County School District says they will have extra counselors available for students at the family’s schools.
