NFL Trade: Browns send two draft picks to the Denver Broncos for WR Jerry Jeudy
Broncos and Browns agreed to a deal today that will send WR Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland in exchange for two draft picks. Cleveland is sending 2024 fifth- and sixth-round picks to Denver for Jerry Jeudy
The Browns have now traded for Amari Cooper for a fifth-round pick and a pick swap, and traded for Jerry Jeudy for a fifth and sixth.
Cleveland made a run at Jeudy at last season’s trade deadline. Now the Browns finally will get him once trade is processed this week.
The Broncos save $12.987 million in 2024 cash and salary cap space by trading Jerry Jeudy, who now gets a fresh start in Cleveland as he enters the last year of his rookie contract.
Jerry Jeudy will join Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore as the newest Browns WR acquired via trade.
Browns land a former first-round pick that has 11 career touchdowns and 3,053 career yards receiving. Hopefully, he can revitalize his career. For a 5th and 6th rounder, this is a super low risk for the Browns.
