Week 10 Small School Top Performers | Presented by Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl

The Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida on January 13th, 2024 and is televised on CBS Sports. The scouts of NFL Draft Diamonds have worked for the past three years as the scouting staff for the Hula Bowl. We are excited to get the 2023-24 season underway, and had scouts in attendance to 15 games this week. With tons of great football games in the NCAA this week, we wanted to break down several of the Top Performers in the Small Schoolers that would have eligibility to play in our game. Let’s break down some of the best performances from week 10.
Wayne Ruby, WR, Mount Union – Ruby the star Division 3 football player finished with 10 receptions and 137 yards in another dominant performance. He also scored a touchdown in week 10.
MJ Wright, WR, Fordham – The Fordham wide out makes it on our list two weeks in a row, lighting it up with 7 receptions and 145 yards with a touchdown.
Thor Griffith, DT, Harvard – The Massive run stuffer finished with 7 tackles, including 4 solo with 2 tackles for loss and a one sack. He is a fun player to watch.
Shen Butler-Lawson, RB, Minnesota State – The D2 back was running all over this week, rumbling for 172 yards and three touchdowns on 20 attempts.
Logan Blake, LB, Eastern Kentucky – Blake finished the game with 18 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and to think 14 of those tackles were solo is fantastic. Great transfer from the former Marian standout.
Brendan Webb, DE, South Dakota – Webb shred up SIU offensive line, racking up four tackles, and four tackles for loss, with four sacks. Add in the fact that he had two PBU’s he did a great job.
