The Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida on January 13th, 2024, and is televised on CBS Sports. The staff at NFL Draft Diamonds has worked for the past three years as the scouting staff for the Hula Bowl, and we are excited to get the 2023-24 season underway. With tons of great football games in the NCAA this week, we wanted to break down several of the Top Performers in the FBS that would have eligibility to play in our game. We are definitely watching and had scouts at 14 games this week around the country. Let’s break down some of the best performances from week 11.

Malik Washington, WR, Virginia – Virginia fell short to the red hot Louisville Cardinals, but Malik Washington had a huge game against an amazing secondary. He finished with 9 receptions and 155 yards scoring once.

Frank Gore Jr., RB, Southern Mississippi – The younger Frank Gore tore up Louisiana this week rumbling for 158 yards on 33 carries scoring two touchdowns. Southern Miss won in overtime thanks to Gore Jr!

Cody Schrader, RB, Missouri – Cody Schrader and the Mizzou defense smashed Tennessee this week, and Schrader had a day to remember. He ran for 205 yards on the ground scoring once, and added an additional 105 yards through the air. It was a dominant performance.

Drake Dabney, TE, Baylor – The 6’5 tight end had a monster day against Kansas State. He finished with 4 receptions for 105 yards and 1 touchdown. Dabney looked like an NFL tight end.

John Rhys Plumlee, QB, UCF – UCF absolutely shocked Oklahoma State and Plumlee was one yard short of three hundred, hitting 299 on 18 passing attempts. He had three touchdowns and totally dominated the OSU defense.
