Blake Martinez had a good run at selling Pokémon cards. According to many reports, the former New York Giants linebacker and fourth round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has now been banned for reportedly scamming card collectors.

Martinez had reportedly made a million plus dollars on selling Pokémon cards and was a big reason he left the sport.

He had a company called Blakes Breaks and would constantly break open Pokemon cards and selling them on WhatNot, but he was exposed by a person on Reddit claiming he was scamming people.

WhatNot released this statement after accusations that Martinez was swapping out higher-level packs for lesser-value packs.

“After a comprehensive investigation into Blakesbreaks’ operations, we have decided to permanently remove the seller from our platform, including the individual employees involved in misconduct,” trading card marketplace WhatNot said in a statement.

WhatNot also announced it has refunded all buyers who were impacted by “the infractions.”

I am not sure if Blake was in fact ripping people off, but Blake claims people are just gunning for him and he has a target on his back because he played football and has been successful.
