What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
What made me decide to play football I started off playing basketball since kindergarten but I knew I lacked in size at that sport and always watched the bengals play every Sunday because I’m originally from Cincinnati Ohio and when I was 8 years old my mom finally let me play and from there I knew I was good at football.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m looking to achieve to be one of the best players to play the defensive back position or returner and to be a hall of fame player I think everyone should have that goal at any sport they play to be the best!
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
I would hang out with Tyrann Mathieu because I love his style of play and we’re like the same size and play with heart and fearless on the field really like how he’s family oriented because I grew up like that too.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moment from football was when in high school I scored a game winning pick six at home to beat a team we haven’t beaten in years and just meeting a lot of different players/coaches from around the world playing this game of football building connections and friendships is what’s best about playing this game.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My older brother he’s always been a leader and had his own mindset. He was teaching me how to become a man with his actions and always taking care of business.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
I like man to man and zone defense, I’m very good at man coverage but it’s also fun to play zone to get interceptions and that’s what I’m good at.
What should we know about Da’Meak Brandon the person?
I’m a very cool laid back guy, I like animals, laugh a lot and just have fun and enjoy life.
What stands out about your film the most?
What stands out the most on my film I would say is my quickness movement, ball skills and IQ on the field.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I handle challenges very good in life and on the field I stay out of my head a lot and just focus on what needs to be done.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A team will get a hard worker that loves to compete, brings good energy to the team and a guy that loves to win.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love the friendship and connections that comes with the game of football that’s what it’s really about and having fun flying and getting the ball.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
The most underrated player I played with I would say my friend Jordan Jones at URI, he’s a ball hawk, you can’t teach a guy to go get the ball it has to be in you.
