A Young Football Fan gifts the Parents of a slain UVA football player his game-used glove
D’Sean Perry was a star for the University of Virginia, and he was taken from this earth way too early. Perry along with Devin Chandler and Lavel Davis Jr was killed in a terrifying incident back in November that shocked the country.
Today, Perry’s family received a gift from a young fan who wanted to return a very precious keepsake to their family.
D’Sean’s Dad Sean shared a keepsake that a 13-year old fan Cole Pratt gave them.
In the note, Cole tells the story of how he received the glove and why he wanted to give the glove back to his family.
“That made me feel really special,” Cole said in the letter. “He was so nice to me. These gloves were the best birthday present that I could have ever asked for.”
“So I wanted to give you one of his gloves. I really want you to have it. I have his other one so we can remember him forever.”
This is awesome! Great Job young man!
