Are the 49ers making the wrong decision keeping Trey Lance over Jimmy Garoppolo?

The San Francisco 49ers have looked decent in preseason but their starting quarterback Trey Lance has not looked very good.
I know this is preseason, but you still are hoping to see your quarterback shine in a meaningless game.
Lance underthrew two passes, including one to a well-covered Deebo Samuel down the field, on the 49ers’ first drive against the Houston Texans. Lance was under pressure during the game, but his starting left tackle was not playing as well.
If you watch the game it was not very impressive. Lance finished Thursday night 7-of-11 for 49 yards. Lance’s three drives produced zero points.
Lance hit Danny Gray on a bomb in the first game and everyone was pumped up, but in week 2 he didn’t play and last night he looked, suspect.
His coach seemed irritated by the questioning about Lance.
“Dude, I’ve got nothing,” Shanahan told the San Francisco Chronicle. “It was a dumb a– preseason game.”
The 49ers traded the world to get him and now there is so much pressure on him to perform well, and he is struggling. Did the 49ers make a mistake? They still can fix this problem, Jimmy G is still on their roster.
The next time we see the former FCS legend Trey Lance will be Week 1 at the Chicago Bears. If he struggles then, that will be the right time to have some concern.
So here is my question, should the 49ers keep Jimmy G at least until week 2? If they do maybe they could trade Lance……
