Vikings rookie TE Irv Smith Jr, wants Kyle Rudolph to stay in Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings opened up talks with Kyle Rudolph yesterday according to multiple reports, and this makes their rookie happy. Irv Smith Jr., the Alabama tight end who was taken 50th overall told Lindsay Rhodes of NFL Total Access on Thursday that he would love for Rudolph to stay.
“It’s definitely not weird at all” “Kyle has embraced me, I’ve learned a lot already from him, and I hope that he’s there, because I can learn from him and, you know, we can be a great combination.”
I do not know why the Vikings would want to get rid of Rudolph, he is a younger tight end with solid production, and he would be a great fit with Irv Smith Jr. The Vikings would have one of the nastiest offenses if they kept Rudolph. Imagine, Kirk Cousins throwing to Stefon Diggs, Adam Theilen, Irv Smith Jr., Kyle Rudolph and Dalvin Cook. The Vikings could be trouble.
