Seahawks CB Sherman says he expects rookie Carr to take shots; “He doesn’t know any better”
Derek Carr is expected to take shots this week against the Seahawks secondary and to be honest he should. The Raiders have nothing to lose. Well Richard Sherman the Seahawks shut down corner made sure to take a shot back at the young quarterback, basically saying he is still wet behind his ears.
“He’s not afraid to take shots. He’s a gunslinger,” Sherman said of Carr, per The News Tribune. “I’m not really surprised, at all. I mean, he doesn’t know any better.”
The Seahawks’ defense is giving up 54.6 more yards passing per game than last season. Carr has been the most impressive rookie quarterback thus far this season. He gets plenty of time from a good offensive line and can make all the throws. However, he has struggled at times with his accuracy.
I hope Carr does take some shots, at this point what do they have to lose?
