5 most overrated football players in the NFL

There are many great football players in the NFL, but there are some guys that get tons of love and are not really that great.  To be honest they are pretty overrated.  Well here is a list of my five most overrated players in the NFL right now.

Robert Griffin III – After an amazing rookie campaign RG3 began to run his chops, act like he was a media icon, and it seemed that he forgot to focus on football.  After a horrible season and getting benched, this former Heisman hopeful has to be on my list of most overrated players.  I was one that honestly thought he would be better than Andrew Luck, and what a fool I was for thinking that.  So this is where I would like to publicly apologize to Andrew Luck (Basically, Eating Crow).  RG3 grow up and focus on the sport, or get out.

Ray Rice – Ray Rice had a couple great years in the NFL, and then he fell off.  Rice is a small fat back that has great speed and hands, but he has lost many opportunities to Bernard Pierce.  Rice continues to plummet and he was once a very high touted back from Rutgers.  Rice just doesn’t have that “it” factor that everyone seems to love from running backs.

Trent Richardson – While I am on running backs, I have to through this guy under the bus.  He is horrible. To be honest, he is worse than Ray Rice.  T-Rich looked lost on the football field at times, and while people are saying it is because of a different system. I call BS!!  A running back does not have to know too much, but what hole to hit, so I don’t want to hear that.  The guy is a bust.

B.J. Raji – I am sick of people talking so great about this guy, he is so overrated.  The guy does a good job at stuff the hole, but his production continues to plummet.  He was outplayed this year by Johnny Jolly who is coming off of a huge drug rehab.  Raji just takes up space, he is not the great pass rusher he once was, and everyone loves the guy.  He is super Overrated in my opinion.

Paul Posluszny – Yes the guy had numbers in and out of every season, and for some reason he received an invite to the Pro-Bowl, but this guy is a bad linebacker.  He always makes plays ten yards down the field.  As a linebacker you are supposed to have stacked numbers.  When you look at Poz’s tackles they are always 5 to 10 yards down the field.  He rarely has a nice run stuff for a loss.

Here is a list of my 5 most underrated players in the NFL.
