What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
The thing that helped me decide was the competitive nature of the game being able to be physical and playing with 10 other guys on the field all working towards one common goal of winning.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My top two favorite moments would be committing to play at Pittsburg State and the second is getting my first career int/pick 6 in my first career college start.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Hopefully accomplish the goal of being a national champion, also being blessed to get the opportunity to have a great pro day so I can get an opportunity at the next level.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
I would have to go Champ Bailey, and Deion Sanders and mainly because those are two of the greatest DBs of all times so I would want to just have a conversation with them to pick their brains and learn more.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My parents, and my son inspires me the most because they motivate me to give my all whenever I am on the field and the support they have always given me is important.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
My favorite defensive scheme to play in is nickel defense, because it allows for more defensive backs to be on the field and it lets the coach call more man coverage calls and I like playing man coverage more than zone.
What should we know about Antione Nunn Jr the person?
I am a very big competitor, responsible, someone that you can lean on in a time of need and lastly one of the hardest working people that goes above and beyond in everything that he does.
What stands out about your film the most?
When you look at my film you see a defensive back that rarely allows catches, creates takeaways at a high rate, and also can tackle in space very well. And majority of the time I am in man to man press coverage the entire game while doing it.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
When challenges present themselves I just put my head down and always try to think of best solution in that moment. When adversity happens on the football field I make sure I am around my teammates and coaches because we will come up with a solution together.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A player that shows up ready to dominate and compete, disciplined player that will do his job within the scheme and also make plays while doing it.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love that it’s not an individual sport you need 10 other guys on the field with you that you can trust in order to accomplish the team goals you set. Also love the opportunity to just compete against other teams.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Jeremy Sharp our defensive lineman, he’s always in the opposing teams backfield, he comes to practice or a game every time ready to give his all and he also does all of this while barely saying anything he’s the silent assassin we call him on the team.
