Cornerback

Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Off the field the coolest thing I was involved with was Team Impact. Our football program at Assumption “signed” Yan Perez as a member of our team. Yan is 8 years old and was diagnosed with a brain tumor in his first year of his life and fights every day since. I loved spending time with Yan outside of football. Being involved with the Team Impact program really puts my abilities in prospective and really made me realize how fortunate I am as a person and a player.

Ethics

Charleston, South Carolina

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother is my role model. She is a single parent that sacrifices everything she has for my sisters and I. She is an incredibly strong, motivated and driven woman, and has never gave up on my dreams. She has always been right on the sidelines even if that meant streaming games from a laptop.

Constance of WR releases off of the line and their route running. Watch for the top routes the WR runs QB’s accuracy and the style of QB

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Billy Brown of Sheppard University. He challenged me from the first play to the last.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Champ Bailey because he is my favorite cornerback. His football IQ and sense of urgency on the field is something that I feel we share in common.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Losing my older sister to sickle cell in 2014 was a big lost for me. I overcame it by just working my hardest and dedicating every play to her knowing that she’s watching me play every game from above.

Giving my trainer a fresh bag of Sour Patch candies before every game Taking a nap in the training room Listening to my gospel playlist while warming up then praying
