NFL Trade Rumors | Five Trades that Could Shake up the NFL before the NFL Draft

The NFL Trade Rumors are starting to swirl, and players could be dealt before the 2023 NFL Draft. There could be some pretty big names moved in the coming days. Ian Rapoport from NFL Media Insiders said that things were starting to heat up with DeAndre Hopkins so, we wanted to put together a nice little article on five players that could be traded before the NFL Draft and try to pick what team lands them.

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Arizona Cardinals – There are so many teams that could trade for the star wide receiver but I think there are two teams he would really want to land the star wide receiver. One of them is the Kansas City Chiefs and the other is the Buffalo Bills. I feel the Bills land DeAndre Hopkins offering up a nice draft pick and Ed Oliver. The Bills need to free up space anyway and they feel they are in a good position to land both Bobby Wagner and Hopkins to a restructure by parting ways with Oliver. This would be a crazy move, but the Bills would have to give up a 2nd and Oliver to land him.

Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – The Washington Commanders come knocking and give Ekeler the money he deserves. The Commanders land the most dynamic pass-catching player in the NFL, and they give him his money. Ekeler has recorded over 100 targets twice in his career and this is a move to help their young quarterback by adding a safety net. Ekeler is a power back with great hands. The Chargers allowed him to seek a trade and a third round pick gets the deal done!

Jonah Williams, OT, Cincinnati Bengals – The Bengals have given Williams the opportunity to seek a trade and there is one team that could use him right now. The Miami Dolphins find a way to add the former Alabama standout. The Dolphins trade a sixth round pick to the Bengals to land a player that has a ton of potential. He is coming off his worst year ever giving up 12 sacks, but he is young and the Dolphins coaching staff feel they can help him get back to his prime.

Kevin Byard, S, Tennessee Titans – The Philadelphia Eagles lost CJ Gardner-Johnson to the Detroit Lions but they find a way to make a swing for the best safety in the NFL. His contract is big, but he can go to a Super Bowl contender and he is from Philly so he is willing to restructure his deal. Byard restructures to make it work for the Eagles, and lands on his hometown team. The Eagles give up a couple mid-round picks to land the star safety.

Jerry Jeudy, WR, Denver Broncos – The Cleveland Browns have been persistent and they finally add a nice addition to Amari Cooper and Donovan People-Jones. Jeudy has the potential to become an elite separator in man coverage. The Browns best move was adding Amari Cooper via trade, so they swing for another home-run by sending a second to the Broncos.
