Roger Goodell expected to sign a multi-year extension | How much does Roger Goodell make?
Roger Goodell and NFL owners are expected to finalize a multi-year contract extension for the commissioner at next week’s owner’s meetings in Phoenix.
Goodell has made a ton of money, back in 2020, Goodell made 63.9 million per year. He has already earned over 500 million dollars since becoming the Commissioner, which is more than any player in NFL history.
These compensation numbers used to be public via tax documents because of the NFL’s non-profit status. But the NFL voluntarily relinquished its tax-exempt status in 2015 (in part to shield executive pay).
Goodell also has access to a private jet but pays the NFL back for usage.
