The New York Jets and Giants share a stadium, and now it will be very easy to get 80,000 plus fans in their stadium. According to NorthJersey.com, the stadium has put $500,000 dollars to install walk through metal detectors in the stadium.

Beginning this week, the home of the New York Giants and Jets and site of dozens of other mega-events will use walk-through metal detectors at all gates. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, no more wanding or pat-downs.

This is great news for football fans, and it sounds like other NFL teams will be doing this as well. NFL security executives recommended to the owners last month that all 31 stadiums go to the walk-through detectors within two years.
