What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just my livelihood growing up, my dad played and football is big in Alabama and Mississippi. And I just always had a passion for it playing in the neighborhood with my friends.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning the state championship my sophomore year in high school, getting my first start in college against Ohio State and Chase Young, this past season at Tulane, and getting my first touchdown against Tulsa at Tulane.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

The dream of playing in the NFL and be recognized as one of the best run blocking tight ends in the league and maximize my potential as well.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

George Kittle or Tom Brady, Kittle seems like he has a fun personality and I would love to hang out with him and Tom Brady is greatness and both those guys are very competitive.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad is the type of guy who pushed me when I was little to the limit and taught me never to be satisfied and always just had a great outlook on life and to work hard and most of my discipline comes from him.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Gap scheme run game, and just love to get in someone’s face and block.

What should we know about Will Wallace the person?

I played 4 years of tennis in high school and I can hit a tennis ball pretty hard and do that in my free time too. I’m a big advocate of freedom with my name being Will Wallace.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to move people off the line of scrimmage.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

By working at what you aren’t good at and doing things you don’t want to do.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a guy who is accountable and who is going to show up everyday and be the same person.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The camaraderie with your teammates and if everyone does there 1/11th something beautiful happens.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Nick Anderson, for an undersized guy he makes up for it with his effort and his leadership is contagious.
