Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
I graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor degree in Communication. I will also be graduating from Old Dominion University with a graduate degree in Lifespan & Digital Communication. Between school and football obligations, I made time to pledge Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. I tried my best to stay involved with different community events, making the best out of all my experiences. Transferring schools only extended my network and I’m fortunate enough to say that.

What do you think your teammates would say is your best quality?
My teammates honestly might call me a madman before anything but in all honesty, they probably would bring up my ability to lead and bring good energy to everything we do.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
I’m a guy that leads by example and simply will get the job done by any means. I’ve been fortunate enough to play every position on the offensive line with the exception of Center, and I firmly believe I can play any of the 4 at any given moment.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Some of the best players I’ve ever played against were on my team. Competing against NFL superstar players such as J.C. Jackson, Tino Ellis, Jermaine Carter, Josh Woods and many more everyday, helped develop me into the player I am today honestly.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
One of my most impressive teammates is our starting Right Tackle Nick Saldiveri. How he uses techniques so effortlessly is admirable.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
When my former teammate Jordan McNair passed away, it made me question my love for the game and it’s worthwhile. It took a long time to acknowledge his death as a point of growth as a man & another reason to play the sport.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I would play professional dodgeball. You would think I’d be bad at it being a big target, but no, I will win by any means possible.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?
I am fortunate enough to have 2 degrees in my 6 years of college football.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
One of the most memorable plays was my first in-game drive at Bowling Green during my time at the University of Maryland in 2018 where I blocked the play-side linebacker and opened up the gap for Javon Leake to score his first collegiate touchdown.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
My favorite athlete is Trent Williams. I model my own game after his athleticism and work ethic.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
My favorite music artist is Drake. I like to listen to smooth R&B before games to get the vibes right.

What is your favorite comfort food?
My favorite comfort food is ice cream. (Preferably Ben & Jerry’s cookies & cream cheesecake core)

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?
One of my all time favorite movies are the Black Panther, I can recite the challenge day scene word-for-word

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
In my spare time I love to cook food. I guarantee I can make the best Chicken Parmesan or Mac & Cheese you’ve had…or at least be in your top 3. My secret talent is that I can dance. I have won many dance battles.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
I play football because it’s my escape from reality. When you’re on the field, nothing else matters but that play. Failure is what motivates me the most. I use the idea of falling short to go harder. I play for those in my life who can’t.
