What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

My ability to attack the ball in the air and win the 50/50 balls.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Michael Kirkendoll (DB). He played his strengths very well. He knew his opponent weakness and exposed them. Definitely one of the best defensive backs I’ve played against.

What is your favorite route and why?

The comeback. I can sell fade then snap down and get out of breaks very well.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would hangout with Devante Adams so that I can learn everything he knows about the WR position in every aspect of the game.

How do you prepare for games?

I watch film on the defense as a whole, what coverage we will most likely get in specific formations, but I primarily look at personal. I look for strengths and weaknesses in each defensive back individually. Day of games I listen to house music and play chess.

What should we know about Armani Carmickle the person?

That I strive to be the best uncle, brother, son, friend, and teammate that I can be. That I always respect and express love to others.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I have many but a lot of them come from traveling with teammates to away games.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I decided to play football when I was 5 years old. It was my junior year of high school where I realized that I could play next level ball and pay for college playing football. So I worked hard to make sure I can get my education paid for. I’m also the first person in my immediate family to play college football and go to a 4 year college. That was motivation and another reason.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I change what I can control. If it is out of my control then I try not to stress the uncontrollable. But if I’m able to do something about my situation then I do it.

What would a team get in a player like you?

I am a player that leads by example. I want to learn and will absorb everything that I’m told. I will come to win everything everyday.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking to break my schools record in TDs, receiving yards and be an All American WR by the end of the season. Outside of stats I’m looking to have fun with my teammates. This could possibly be my last football season in my life and I want to enjoy every minute of it.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

The energy I bring is always uplifting. I feel that I give the team the push to get us going on drives. I stay positive on the sidelines through the ups and downs of games.
