Troy University wide receiver Reginald Todd arrested for first-degree hindering prosecution

Troy wide receiver Reginald Todd was arrested for first-degree hindering prosecution and second-degree possession of marijuana.

A wide receiver on the Troy University football team is suspended following his arrest Monday afternoon. According to police records, Reginald Todd a 24-year-old wide receiver from Troy University was arrested in connection with the search of the Ladd-Peebles Shooting suspect Hezekiah Belfon.

If you are not aware of what happened, there was a shooting at a football game, that left four injured including two minors in Alabama.

Police are searching for Hezekiah Belfon a 19-year-old in connection with the shooting. The Alabama police force says it has five warrants accusing 19-year-old Belfon of attempted murder.

Todd is charged with first-degree hindering prosecution and second-degree possession of marijuana.

Troy’s athletics department released a statement saying Todd “has been suspended indefinitely from our football program pending an investigation.”
