College football player Jeremiah Harris shot his teammate killing him in Miami
We wrote an article the other day of two teammates fighting one another at Austin Peay State University where one player held his teammate hostage at knife point and slit his throat and wrist. Well, we have a even wilder story today.
Asa College in Miami, Florida is losing two of their football players after an argument that turned into gun shots.
Jeremiah Harris, 19 is facing second degree murder and two attempted second degree murder charges after shooting his teammate at the Stadium Hotel in Miami, that left his teammate dead.
According to the report, Harris, a football player for ASA College, got into an argument with a teammate at practice, and it led into this shooting.
Three football players arrived at Harris room and began arguing, that is when Harris opened fire on all of them.
Three victims, all 19 years old, were wounded in the shooting. Harris’ teammate Fred Killings was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other two suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Harris immediately called his coach and told him he shot his teammates. Harris also told investigators he was scared for his life because the three men were becoming aggressive.
It is sad that someone lost their life, but this sounds like a case of self-defense.
