Wow, the Miami Hurricanes were supposed to be a team to beat, but they are slowly losing some stars.

Henry Parrish Jr. the star running back is entering the transfer portal on April 15th when the portal opens.

Parrish Jr. was the team’s leading rusher and was supposed to be a huge factor with Cam Ward this year. Mario Cristobal is on the hot seat in Miami, and losing a star like Parrish Jr. is a huge blow.

Cristobal said this about Parrish’s departure.

“Henry will not be with the program anymore,” Cristobal said (via the Miami Herald). “He’ll go in the portal. It’s best for him and best for the University of Miami to move on. Thankful for his contribution here and wish him the very, very best.”

Parrish rushed for 625 yards on 100 carries last season and gained 604 yards on 128 carries two seasons ago for Cristobal’s Hurricanes. The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder from Goulds, Florida spent his first two seasons at Ole Miss, totaling 786 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Rebels.
