Breaking: Cardinals are signing former small school WR Darece Roberson

Former Wayne State wide receiver Darece Roberson has signed with the Arizona Cardinals. We sat down with Roberson at the end of the season last year at Draft Diamonds,.
Roberson is a shifty receiver from Muskegon, Michigan. He is a 5’9, 170 pound speedster who was not able to participate in a pro day last year due to COVID. He had a productive career at Wayne State and is now in the NFL.
Roberson was a top punt return man averaging 17.5 yards per punt return. Roberson had a 20.7 kickoff return average in 2020.
Roberson received membership into the 2020 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for maintaining over a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average throughout his playing career. He played in 43 games, making 33 starts, and is one of only two players in school history to have both a punt return and a kickoff return for touchdown joining Sterling Walker (PR in 2000 and KOR in 2001).
This is a sneaky solid signing by the Cardinals. He could be a good return man.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough.
