Former All-Pro RB Devonta Freeman signed to Bills practice squad
By: NFLHeads
With the recent injury to RB Zack Moss, the Buffalo Bills have decided to get more depth at the running back position.
The Buffalo Bills have signed former Falcons star Devonta Freeman to their practice squad, and my guess is he will soon be elevated as an insurance policy for Devin Singletary.
Devonta Freeman saw limited playing time this year after being signed mid-season by the New York Giants, and rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown at 3.2 yards per carry. Not impressive, to say the least.
This will probably not be an impactful move for Buffalo but it is possible if they are in a tough spot that Devonta will have some minimal impact in the running game.
The cool thing to remember is the Bills running backs have ties to the Miami area and Freeman is also from the Miami area.
