XFL IS BACK!!! It will kickoff in the Spring of 2022
Today the Rock announced on his Twitter that the XFL is coming back. The official kick off is in the Spring of 2022.
This is going to be great. It will suck that they will not have any games in 2021, but shoot at this point, it is probably the smartest route. The Rock and company want to make it last.
Did you know that 21 players in the NFL played in the XFL?
XFL president and chief operating officer Jeffrey Pollack said in a statement, the league did not want to rush its return.
“For the love of football and for the safety of our players and fans, we’ll be back on the field in 2022,” Pollack said. “The opportunity in front of us, with our new ownership, is simply too big to rush back. We want to do this properly with care and thought for everyone who loves football, especially our players, coaches, partners and fans.”
I cannot wait for the XFL to return. There are so many good players out there.
