Bears worked out James Brewer this week

ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Dickerson reports that the Bears brought in offensive linemen including Aaron Adams, James Brewer, and Martin Wallace for tryouts in recent days.

Adams, 25, spent the entire 2013 season on the Packers’ practice squad and was in contention for a reserve role in training camp last season before tearing his anterior cruciate and medical collateral ligament in the preseason finale against Kansas City. A two-year starting tackle at Eastern Kentucky, Adams initially signed with the Cleveland Browns over the Packers after going undrafted in 2013.

Brewer was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Indiana.

Martin Wallace played college football at Temple. Wallace was an undrafted free agent in 2013, and has been on three different teams since 2013. Wallace has spent time with the Browns, Panthers and Buccaneers.
