Draft Diamonds Free Agent Interview: Jamyre Soberanis, Running Back
Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL and CFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. So I hope you all read this interview and follow Jamyre’s journey. 1. If you were on a game show and won 100 thousand dollars what would you do with it?
I would probably buy a house for my family.
2.if you could hang out with any football player past or present who and why?
I would hang out with Matthew Slater, Patriots captain! He is a great man, he has a strong faith in God, he is a leader & he always works hard in everything he does.
3. What is your mindset when you are on the football field?
My mindset on the field is nobody can stop me. I believe & trust in my training! Nobody trains as hard as me & that gives me confidence that I can go & ball out.
4. Who is your favorite musical artist?
My favorite musical artist is K Camp! His album Kiss 5 that he just put out is crazy! One of my other favorites is NBA Youngboy!
5. What do you do for fun?
I like to train in my free time. I also just like chilling with my boys. I love playing ps4 with my brother, we play COD, 2k & madden. I also like to watch Netflix, my favorite show that is out right now is Ozark.
6. What is your dream car?
The Lamborghini Aventador! All black everything!
7. Who is the Most interesting teammate from anywhere you’ve played and why?
One of the most interesting teammates I played with was back in my pop warner days. He complained about everything, all the drills in practice, everything, but he never quit. I always wondered why you are here if you always complain.
8. What made you decide you wanted to play football?
I’ve always had a football in my hand, ever since I was little. My dad & my older brothers finally said one day ” why don’t you just play for real”. That next summer is where it all started for me playing pop warner for the Boston Raiders.
9. Who do you model your game after?
A lot of different running backs. My favorites to watch are probably Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush (USC highlights)& Shady McCoy. I try to watch how they run & try to put it in my game.
10. What would a team get in a player like you?
A team is getting someone who always works hard. Someone who is willing to sacrifice for the team. Someone who puts the team first.
11. If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?
I would have to live in Dubai, it’s beautiful.
12. If you were an animal which animal would you be and why?
A lion, lions are kings & they are savages.
