XFL Blocks NFL team from signing one of their Franchise QB’s
Guess what, The XFL is not letting one of their Franchise QB’s sign with the NFL, before the season begins.
The XFL blocked the Detroit Lions from signing quarterback Josh Johnson, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter (on Twitter).
Johnson, who was assigned to the Los Angeles Wildcats last week, cannot get out of his commitment without the permission off the league.
The XFL has not yet partnered with the NFL, so they are going to protect their talent, but this is going to get some players fired up.
