Should the NFL suspend Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill?

Tyreek Hill aka Cheetah is under fire right now and it sounds like the NFL will investigate his case. The problem is the consistency of the league.

When NFL fans read what happened in the Tyreek Hill situation the first thing you here is cut him. Get rid of him, well the reason many of the fans are saying that is because they do not want to see the Kansas City Chiefs winning. That is the hate they have, because they would absolutely love to have a player like Tyreek Hill on their team.

The problem is, Tyreek Hill was not arrested. He was not charged for anything, and at the end of the day the people investigating the case (THE POLICE) have now closed their case against him.

The criminal investigation into Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill stemming from a child abuse probe is no longer active, according to the local district attorney.

“This is not an active investigation, which is the same status of the case during my press conference,” a spokesperson for the Johnson County (Kansas) District Attorney’s Office said in a statement to NFL.com. “As in any case, if we receive additional evidence we will then reevaluate the case.”

So here is my question, when you are dealing with suspensions, you have to be firm, fair and consistent. I have been looking at the suspensions from the NFL and I am blown away with the inconsistency.

Reuben Foster was arrested and charges were dropped, yet he was still suspended two game checks by the league for domestic violence.

Jameis Winston the Buccaneers quarterback was suspended for a 3-game suspension for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy. He was found guilty of sexually assaulting an Uber driver.

NFL suspended Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott six-games after an investigation lasted for more than a year. The suspension stemmed from domestic violence allegations made against Elliott in July 2016.

Elliott was never charged, Winston was never charged, but both were suspended three games. Foster was arrested but suspended two games. Foster’s charges were all dropped, but he was still hit. I look at this and shake my head. What is the Union doing? I want to know how the Union is working for the players because these are not just. They were all charged with the same thing. A domestic violence issue yet there is no common denominator.

Tyreek Hill will be under an investigation from the NFL, but we will likely find out if he is going to get hit with a suspension or not. By the look of this who knows what the NFL will do. He could get 2 games, or maybe more. With no consistency there is a problem brewing. NFLPA has to step up.
